Ruby and Jodi. Accountability.

Ruby the “8 Passengers” diva out west and her life coach, defrocked therapist Jodi are now facing the reality of  living in a fantasy world.
Or rather, Ruby appears to be the one who lived in a fantasy world.

With Jodi as puppeteer.

It also seems that my “gaydar” going off the first time I saw a picture of them together with Jodi’s hand way up on Ruby’s thigh as they warbled their way through the latest speech about how they had all the answers, answers that involved tactics stolen from the Bitch of Buchenvald (Look her up and hold on to your hats!)

And if you didn’t use those tactics, you were a bad, bad, BAD mother.

Good thing I’m not Mormon.

Because, despite the fact that Jodi got herself in Dutch by being a bad, bad, BAD therapist, so bad that she got her license yanked, the local Mormon elders, who either out of negligence or flat out malice, referred patients to her.

Patients which she abused to the point of destroying marriages, and abusing their children.

These angry “patients” are now speaking out.

If it quacks like a duck, waddles like a duck, and looks like a duck, it’s a duck – Jodi has admitted that yes… she likes women.

No surprise there. In a strong patriarchy in the middle of Mormonland, hiding your sexuality if it differs from the party line, can be a very, very good idea.

I can see that.

Especially if you love your family or value your position in that society and don’t want to lose it. Or if you actually believe the tenets of the faith you were raised in.

Still, there are patterns emerging.

Jodi always seemed to abuse the men and boys the worst, and take over the space where the man was in the therapeutic process – and she seems to like hot blondes of conventional good looks.

Jodi uses brutal tactics on girls and women that lets face it, she probably fancied, grooming the younger ones into compliance even as she admits to them that “fooling around” with other women doesn’t count if you’re close friends, but being homosexual is EEEEEEEEEEVILLLLLLLL!

Pot, meet kettle, kettle, meet pot.

And she’s making MONEY, lots of money off of Ruby and her kids.

Even as she cuts Ruby, who appears to not exactly be the most critical of thinkers and in need of validation for her way of raising children, off from her husband and family – demonizing the boys while beating down the girls into instant obedience.

Hmmmmmm…

Perhaps we all would have been better off if Jodi had ditched Utah and Mormonism, run for Portland, and opened a Patchouli Parlor and Witchy Weed Emporium with another woman – and stayed away from life coaching, even if she WAS charging $10k a person to “train” suckers to be “life coaches”.

A title that means nothing in the mental health care field.

Jodi may be a menace, but she’s certainly good at convincing people to give her money.

As for Ruby, one wonders if it hadn’t been Jodi, it would have been Amway or that bunch that sells you overpriced leggings at partys.

And then there’s the Mormon elders in that part of the world. Should they be brought up on charges? I think that they should. This isn’t Jodi’s first rodeo.

How much oversight do these guys get? Did they know that they’d placed a weasel in a hen coop and expected the weasel to play nice?

And as for the culture in that branch of Mormonism, did it partially lead to this crap? Should the traditions be questioned? Should they be re-examined?  Is Mormonism or the expression of Mormonism that led to the systematic abuse over the years that Jodi perpetuated?

There’s a lot of questions that are popping up – once again, it’s all fun and games until the wrong virgin gets sacrificed.

And in this case, the virgin escaped out a window with duct tape and red pepper and ran to the neighbor. A neighbor who didn’t turn his back.
